agreed, M$ did a good enough job with Windows 7 (unlike Vista) that they deserve the money. =)

There isn’t really big differences, just some features that aren’t available in Home Premium and those are at best superficial or easily tweakable (is that even a word) or there’s workarounds on the net. =)

BitLocker?….bah, just use TrueCrypt…it’s free and just as good if not better. lol

You can search around Youtube for tutorials on how to get Vista’s Windows Movie Maker for Windows 7 or alternatively install the more or less “lite” version via Windows Live Essentials. =)

I know what you mean about resources even though I was an XP user before switching to 7, I did use Vista now and then. XD

Nah,.. It’s not that cool enough.. I use Windows 7 for 2 weeks.. and then,.. I install my Hp installer and it won’t work.. And then it doesn’t have Windows movie maker like Vista that is HD.. What i like in Windows 7 is it’s capacity.. it’s not like Vista that is very heavy in memory capacity.. but.. 3/5

Change in Microsoft’s marketing strategy I guess although I liked it better and I think it was easier for people to just have like two versions.

Having so many versions confuses a lot of people, Microsoft should’ve just kept it the way they did with XP.

Windows 7 Home and Windows 7 Professional, instead of having Starter, Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate. XD

Ultimate is the best to in my opinion, has all of the bells and whistles. XD
