Um…Vista is a Ram and processor ho. trust me. i installed windows 7 for free….and idling im using 0% of my cpu and 19% of my RAM with nothing open compared to vista 20%+ ram and 3% load just idling with nothin open.

After having done all windows 7 clean installed but it’s not as smooth as my vista. Is it drivers chipset intel something or what? I am not really very good at all these things. My setup is an Asus laptop m51sn 3 gb ram core 2 duo t 8300 e.t.c.
Am I missing some crucial drivers?. Everythin working except I get some crackling noises playing Fl studio while my old vista is smooth. What can I do to make my new win 7 smooth. plsss.
I use windows 7 for over one week and I am glad by fast preview my videos in after effects without any problems but many softwares and plug- ins doesnt no work:(
