Dell AXIM X51V/X50V WM6 Update Guide NOT FOR X50 OR X51!

Fist off many owners 0f X51 and X50 are bricking there PDA even after i warn everybody not to do this unless they know what they are doing and have done all of their research so I’m going to make this a little easier. DO NOT TRY THIS IF YOU HAVE AN X51 OR AN X50 THEY ARE NOT THE SAME AS AN X51V AND A X50V AND THIS UPDATE WILL BRICK YOUR PDA. This video is my first attempt at making a how/to guide so please don’t be too critical. This guide is my attempt of showing a comprehensive explanation on how to update your PDA’s and give you a step by step guide on what you need and what to do. I only have a X51V so this video is mostly about that, but to my knowledge updating the X50V is not MUCH different so this might help those of you who are stuck with that as well. JUST SO YOU KNOW THIS VIDEO IS NO EXCUSE TO BE LAZY. DO NOT UPDATE YOU’R PDA IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING, DO NOT UPDATE YOUR PDA WITHOUT DOING ALL OF YOUR RESEARCH WHICH MEAN MAKING SURE YOU READ ALL OF YOUR RESPECTIVE FORUMS FROM BEGINNING TO END, AND DO NOT UPDATE YOUR PDA IF YOU DONT WANT TO VOID YOUR WARRENTLY. That means if you turn your device off and you want to turn it back on your have to plug it up to the computer and run Blackra1n again to get it to reboot.) – If your new iPod Touch 2G/3G 8g model number starts with MB it’ll work, if your model starts with MC it won’t. Go to Settings – General – About to see your model number. – If you get stuck at the part where it says “going into recovery mode” and it stops doing anything, manually put it in recovery mode. READ FIRST: before anyone even tries this. There are no viruses in it, but from what i have been hearing this tutorial might not work for all users. When i made the tutorial i made it on a computer running windows xp sp2. I think this tutorial should work for 75% of you guys. No harm done in trying though.
